These tanks are made in the USA and they are either 11", 18" or 24" high. They are painted grey and work great for smothering when you make knives.
- Choose size: 4"x4"x11", 4"x4"x18", 6"x6"x24"

- 4" x4" x18" Tank: This quench tank will hold 1 gallon of oil and should give you 4 to 5 quenches before needing to cool. The depth is 18" which should be sufficient for most knife sizes. The lid is a great feature that can help smother out flare ups and the 8"x8"x3/8" base makes for a nice sturdy platform.
- 6" Tank: This quench tank will hold 3.5 gallons of oil and should give you more quenches than the 4" tank before needing to cool, unless you are using a much bigger piece of steel. The depth is 24" which should be sufficient for most knife sizes. The lid is a great feature that can help smother out flare ups and the 10"x10"x3/8" base makes for a nice sturdy platform.
